We mourn our Bast.

Sometime between 3 and 7 p.m. this evening our kitten Bast died due to complications arising from pneumonia.

My wife and I are devastated.

@Chris: Yes it was sudden. She began showing symptoms about 4 days prior to her death. We had been to the Veterinarian and were giving her food treatments and bacterial antibiotics, but to no avail.
